HOTEL MARKET

  • Must be able to consistently meet or exceed revenue goals for assigned market
  • Must be able to consistently meet or exceed sales calls, prospecting, and site visit goals for assigned market
  • Must be willing to attend periodic industry functions
  • Must be willing to travel 2 -3 times a year for training and industry functions

WHAT DOES A DIRECTOR OF SALES DO?

A Director of Sales is a crucial position to help with revenue growth for the hotel. The DOS works very closely with the General Manager and the VP of Sales & Revenue. While the position greatly affects the financial returns of the hotel, it’s also one of leading the team, developing the culture, and of course, passionately serving our guests. Relationships are the heart of what we do so building & strengthening relationships in our local community, with our national accounts, and with all our guests is vital to our success. Promoting brand awareness and delivering world-class service should be done with a laser focus.
